People are so concerned about the giant raft of plastic floating in the Pacific Ocean. The plastic shopping bags are banned now unless they are reusable. While in the local market, the vast majority of shoppers use disposable plastic bags. They claim that they all reuse them but everybody at the farmers market seems to be pulling new bags off the roll.
